I wish I could see the world through different eyes
I wish I could see the landscapes of Namibia myself
I wish I could travel back in time to see what my ancestors were like
I wish I could see the green fields of New Zealands for once
I wish I could warmth one day without standing in the burning sun
I wish I could see the reflecting lakes of Slovenia just once
I wish I could I could tell people that I traveled the world and still decided to come back here
But
I get to see the sun rising like a glowing fireball every morning from my bed
I have a mother that has helped me with every burden in my life
I get to enjoy sweet tea every night with my favourite book
In my book, I like to think I travel; I travel with the characters, follow them around, wherever it might carry me
And I have so many things
other people wish for their whole life
I have so many things - and I wonder, love, where does this hunger for more come from?
Is it me? Is it human? Is it crazy?
